The (Nearly) Finished Product

Here's the same oud, lacking only the application of some shellac.

The instrument was sold at: The Nortwest Folklife Festival, May 23-26, 2003, in Seattle.

I expect to have two more like it, and one of my mahogany-backed ouds (with a new leafy rosette), at this year's Festival, May 26-28, 2007, at the Musical Instrument Makers Showcase.
